An autosurf is a type of online advertising program. Autosurfs are traffic exchanges that automatically rotate advertised websites in one's Internet browser (wikipedia). Like HYIP, u invest some amount of money (usually with e-gold or paypal or other payment processors), then u have to open their site that contain automatically rotate advertising for a few minutes every day. They will pay u back a percentage of ur money every time u finished opening the rotating ads (u can only open it once a day).

Let's take example from the most popular autosurf (that been there for about 3 years before they die), 12dailypro. On 12dailypro, u can invest a small amount of money from $6-$6000 (if i remember correctly). Then for 12 days, every day u have to open the automatically rotate advertising for about 12 ads. Then after that, u get 12% of ur money. If u open it everyday without fail, then u will get 12 days x 12% of ur money, that would be 144%. That means if u invest $100, and open the rotating ads without fail everyday for 12 days, u will get $144 returned to u.

Manual surf is almost the same like autosurf. The difference is that in manual surf, u have to click/browse the advertised sites urself. Let's say if for 12dailypro, u have to open 12 ads a day (which will be rotated for about every 10 seconds), that means u jsut have to open the ads about 120 seconds, and then it finished. But in manual surf, u have to click through all the 12 ads (click an ads, wait for 10 seconds, close it, and open another ads, repeat until 12 times).

How can they pay u ? Lots of advertisers paid to show their ads for 12dailypro members (which u have to see everyday to get ur 12%). But still, I dont think those advertisers would be enough to cover all the big returned. So like HYIP, autosurf and manual surf would die too anytime soon. But because they have advertisers to back them up, they usually lasts longer than HYIP.

And the same like HYIP, managed ur risks. Consider it as a game. They all would gone sometimes soon. But if you can play and managed ur risks right, u can get big returned of ur money. And if u lose, u have ready urself for it, so u will be ok.
