Games Online is a game that is played online (require internet connection to play). The benefit is that we can play together with people from all over the world. It makes games more exciting because we can interact with lots of people during the game that adds more dimension and feels into the game. Though we have to be more careful in behaving in games cause interact with alive people is different than interact with computer that have no feeling. Other than that, prepare to meet with hacker and cheater that is so annoying and makes playing games online less appealing.
Some online games are text based so we can play it right away on internet explorer (or other browser of your preference) because it doesn't need a lot of bandwith.
Some games required us to download their client programs to play the games. This client programs can be small or even as big as gigs. But the cool pictures and images that we have while playing the games usually worthed for the size.
